It's not that I'm lonely out here, but from time to time I sure start to miss the company of a man. Hiking up Cathedral Pass, I realized I have everything I need right here in front of me.
This mountain was stunning... My jaw dropped open and I fell in love at first sight. He was rugged, rough, stoic and brave. I knew he had a sensitive side, too, seeing his collection of butterflies and wild flowers. He stood there erect, waiting for me to climb on top. After reaching the climax, my head felt light and I struggled to catch my breath. Nothing like a cold misty rain to bring me back down to earth. He fed me wild berries while I drank from his springs. He protected me without being possessive... let me explore his vast surface. He's loaded too, with big bucks and plenty of doe. Oh, if only this mountain were a man.
